Lawyer, I have a professional career dedicated to the promotion and protection of Human rights for a dozen of years, after having acquired strong skills and proven experience in the design, management, administrative, financial and budgetary projects related to human rights, monitoring and evaluation, as well as the sustainability and impact of the programmes on the ground.

I have just finished a term of five years as a member of the Commission, and indeed of human Rights (CBDH), a national mechanism for the promotion and protection of human rights established by the State of benin that I chaired the 03 January 2019 December 28, 2023.

Twenty (22) years of professional experience have allowed me to contribute my commitment on the ground in Benin and in the sub-region to:
1. assist States and their subdivisions, the development partners to have real-time analytics to readjust to the types of intervention most appropriate to deal with the issues of peace and security, human rights and democratic governance.
2. provide practical advice and training state and nonstate actors for the action of advocacy, mediation, for the respect of human rights.
3. conduct advocacy with policy-makers and development partners in order that in the choice of public policies, the focus is on the issues of Peace and security, protection, inclusion and gender, democratic governance, environment, youth and Migration.

Previously an Expert with the International Organization of la Francophonie to accompany the Member to the UPR from 2017 to 2018, I was in may 2014 to October 2022, Expert of the Working Group on the Death Penalty, extrajudicial, summary or Arbitrary and forced disappearances in Africa of the African Commission on Human Rights and Peoples (ACHPR), Regional Coordinator for Africa of the global Coalition for the ICC (CICC) from 2014 to 2017, and country Director of Amnesty International in Benin from 2012 to 2014. In August 2018, I have been co-opted as an Expert Member of the working Group on Africa of the Global Action against Mass Atrocities/ (GAAMAC). Since November 2023, I joined the International Association of Chaplains of the united states (US Chaplain International Association) as a quality Officer at the level of Benin.

The responsibilities of the Regional Coordinator Africa can be summarized as follows :
✔  Create and maintain a good and strategic working relationship with the members of the CICC across the region ;
✔  Provide support and guidance to the members of the CICC across the region to strengthen their capacity to advance justice at the ICC and at the national level ;
✔  Identify new members to the IPCC and allies in the region to diversify the network of partners of the CICC and interested parties in the ICC in the region ;
✔  Evaluate the developments in the key countries present, and the other to be determined ; develop advocacy strategies in each target country, in cooperation with key partners, national and international, to lead to an improvement of the long term goals of the IPCC, such as the ratification, implementation, complementarity, and cooperation ;
✔  Facilitate the exchange of views and expertise between national Ngos and the branches of the government ;
✔  Meet with government officials, academics, parliamentarians and other key stakeholders in order to promote the goals of the IPCC at the national level ;
✔  Help develop and review the projects of Ngos for local activities related to the ICC
✔  Take part in meetings, regional and national levels in Africa, as well as to the Assembly of States Parties and meetings of the civil society in The Hague ;
✔  Identify and develop relationships with media contacts, key ;
✔  To produce regular reports on the process of the ICC in Africa ;
✔  Maintain internal communications, cooperating regularly with the Secretariat of the IPCC by email and telephone ;
✔  Coordinate program activities and their financing, budgetary issues, and the regional updates ;
